Abstract

In this paper the authors analyse the legal nature of concession contract after the General Adiministrative Act came into force. Also, the concepts of concession and administrative contract in theory and in legislation are considered. Then, the legal framework of regulating concession and administrative contracts in the Republic of Croatia ara analysed. Comparing the provisions of the Concession Act and General Administration Act by which the subject matter of administrative contracts are regulated, the authors raise the question of whether the concession contract can be considered as an administrative contract regulated by the General Administrative Procedure Act. The answer to this question is affirmative and in the conclusion the authors emphasise that Croatian legislation in the future must react to the given circumstances.
