Mortality Trends in Croatia from 1950 to 1998

Abstract

This paper analyses the mortality evolution in Croatia in relation to sex and age from 1950 to 1998, and tries to explain how mortality of certain age groups influenced the average life span of the live-born. The analysis of the structure of the dead in relation to death cause in connected with that.
