Abstract
The homotopy analysis method (HAM) as a new technique which is powerful and easy-to-use, is applied to solve heat transfer problems. In this paper, we use HAM for heat transfer conductivity equation with variable properties which may contain highly nonlinear terms.The obtained results are also compared with the Adomian decomposition method (ADM). The homotopy analysis method contains the auxiliary parameter ħ, which provides us with a simple way to adjust and control the convergence region of solution series.
