While there are many researches in the world about the impact of cruising tourism on the environment, in Croatia, such researches are lacking. Therefore, the subject of the research in this paper has been to identify necessary actions, with the help of theoretical and practical guidelines, so cruising tourism in our coastal area could contribute to sustainable development.
