Abstract

Multidisciplinary teamwork in SCI (spinal cord injury) rehabilitation has fundamental role in functional recovery of SCI patients. SCIM III (Spinal Cord Independence Measure III) test is valid instrument in measuring of functional skills of patients at onset and at discharge from rehabilitation. We conducted SCIM III testing in 154 SCI patients rehabilitated in Special Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Varaždinske Toplice (Croatia), and found significant improvements in all groups of patients.
