Abstract

Although interest in the gifted, the talented and the creative dates back from antiquity and even though it today encourages even more researches and other studies of this problem, there is no complete theory that explains the characteristics of un-lucky ones who possess them. Despite numerous definitions, this is not at all surprising in this age of general explosion of human cognition. On the other hand, it could be implied that the problem of giftedness defies time and speed of human knowledge expansion and the amount of that knowledge. As curious as it is, it always incites tackling with it, even if that means summing up familiar cognitions and dwelling upon the place and possibilities of their application to education and upbringing, in both private and institutionalized form, which is the case in this work.
