Abstract

Environmental protection of the nature and the human environment has recently become one of the most important segments of scientific research. Taking into consideration the fact that the issues of the pollution from shore have already been discussed, nowadays, ever-increasing and demanding attention has been shifted to sea pollution caused from various sources. Marine engine is one of the greatest sea pollutants by means of air, i.e. by the emission of exhaust gases, and it is attempted to be regulated, controlled and prevented by means of a series of international Conventions and national regulations.
