Abstract

The study relative to the economy of plant nutrients and cattle feed consumption in agriculture (including milk production) indicated variation depending on co-operation between family farms and large scale socially-owned farms in their separate interest (I/II) or in their common interest (II-I) during the period 1963-2003. Non-market economy and co-operation of farms in their separate interest (I/II) was the cause of a non-regional technological structure in soil fertilization. The inorganic fertilization dominated with 36-60% in 1963-83 (and would reach 70% according to the trend until 2003). The economy of plant nutrients consumption decreased from index 100 to 96 (even to 82). In a non-regional technological structure of cattle feeding and milk production use of roughage decreased from 60 to 44% and milk production from 63 to 53% of cattle produce value. Separation of animal farms from crop farms made uneconomical the use on farmyard manure and roughage and was the cause of environment polluting. Market economy and co-operation of farms in common interest (partnership) enabled regional technological structure of soil fertilization and farmyard manure dominated to 79%, together with regional produce structure. Economy of consumption of plant nutri-tiens increased from 100 to 104. In regional structure of cattle feeding roughage use did not drop below 45% and milk value below 63% of cattle produce. Connection of crop farms and family animal farms made them, economical and in this way the did not pollute the environment.
