VLADIMIR SREĆKO VRKLJAN, CONTEMPORARY PHYSICIST- THROUGH BIBLIOGRAPHY

Abstract

The paper gives some new information of biographic and bibliographical nature on Vladimir Srećko Vrkljan, based on original historical research. It emphasizes his work in contemporary physics, especially in quantum physics. He was the first Croatian physicist who was intensively engaged in quantum physics.
Upon presenting a detailed bibliograhy of V. S. Vrkljan, up to now published most completely list by Zlatko Janković (80 references in a necrology on Vrkljan), author adds for the first time a list of five more entries to Vrkljan´s bibliography. As for V. Vrkljan, a list of already mentioned papers follows: 6 by Hinko Wolf, 1 mentioned only by Božo Metzger in his paper. The contribution of aforementioned authors in expanded by 35 more references not refereed before. It points up that he was correspondent member of JAZU.
