Work Centres and Commuting Areas in Croatia in 1981

Abstract
The network of centres with regard to their size and density is irregular. Furthermore, there is a very pronounced regional and local polarization of jobs. Apart from positive effects, this also leads to negative polarization effects, visible in the irregular regional development.
