Abstract

From the aspect of economy and safety of production, the use of automatic standardization and butterfat control is the result of modern industrial milk processing. PASILAC COMPOMASTER provides a continuous process of butterfat standardization in milk and cream. Besides numerous advantages offered by the PASILAC COMPOMASTER, standardization are the most important. In order for the Compomaster to be precise and in order to achieve maximum savings in butterfat, control analyses have to be highly precise. Investigation of the automatic standardization proces on the PASILAC COMPOMASTER showed that programmed values varied from 0.03% (Milko Tester) to 0.05% (Gerber) in milk, and 0.05% in cream. Better coordination of investigation through the Milko Tester and Rose Gottlieb method showed the accuracy of the PASILAC COMPOMASTER to be within 0.03%. The results have shown that the PASILAC COMPOMASTER system controlled through the Milko Tester, provides very precise standardization.
