Comparative study on free aminoacids content in cow's and ewe's milk

Abstract

In order to establish the content of free aminoacids in cow's and ewe's milk samples of raw milk, collected in milk collecting stations of the region of Macedonia were analyzed. Cow's milk samples to contained 17 free amino acids in total amount of 6.81 mg percent and ewe's milk samples 17 free aminoacids in total amount of 9.92 mg percent. Investigations data confirmed that nonessential aminoacids in milk samples over match essential. In cow's milk samples amounts of essential aminoacids attained 1.56 mg percent or 22.91 percent of total amount in free aminoacids, and ewe's milk samples 2.61 mg percent or 26.31 percent.
