Abstract

One of the key factors of human resource management is employee motivation. Often the question is how to motivate employees and thus contribute to the better functioning of the company. Motivation is the key to high business standards, encouraging creativity, development and innovation, professional development of employees and their retention in the company. Material motivation is one of the major factors which the organizational practice of work motivation is based on. It is under the direct influence of the organization management, its policies and practices. Promotion, status symbols, recognition, salaries and other material compensations are visible mechanisms for allocating specific awards and work evaluation within the policies and practices of each organization.
