Historical and Spatial Development of the Historicist Grbac Cottage in Zagreb

Abstract
The historicist cottage of the Grbac Family, built in 1889/1890 according to Leo Hönigsberg’s designs, formed part of a planned cottage estate in Josipovac in Zagreb. Comparative analysis of archival documents and architectural drawings of the present state reveal stages in the historical and spatial development of the cottage. Each stage is presented through a graphic three-dimensional model reconstruction while the conclusions were verified by conservation and restoration research results.
