Abstract

Nematodes, as one of the possible indicators of soil contamination, can reflect the ecological condition of agricultural soils and the changes that occur in it caused by human activity. They demonstrate the sustainability and health of the soil ecosystem. Soil nematodes are important in scientific research due to the large number and diversity of species, as well as the diversity of trophic groups. That allows classification of nematodes and the ability to calculate a large number of indices. Disturbance indices of nematodes community (MI, PPI, PPI / MI, ΣMI, MI2-5, ΣMI2-5), and ecological (trophic) diversity indices (H ', λ, E1, N1, N2) when used together, can clearly detect differences in ecological conditions of the soil.
