Program and Spatial Organization Requirements for Doctor’s Offices

Abstract

This paper presents parameters relevant to program and spatial organization in the design of doctor’s offices. It encompasses general practitioner’s offices, dentist’s offices and specialist’s offices. The analysis is based on the selected offices in Croatia, West Europe and America with regard to their spatial organization and size. The analysis of the health centre Borovje in Zagreb designed by Dražen Juračić and Gordana Žaja serves to illustrate the program and size requirements in designing doctor’s offices in Croatia.
