Causes of Housing Stock Problems in Croatia

Abstract

This paper gives an analysis of social, economic, political, legal and technological circumstances which had an impact on the housing stock in Zagreb and in Croatia in the period of socialism. The objective of this analysis is to look into the possible roots of the problems concerning the housing stock such as physical and functional obsolescence, uneconomical usage etc.
