Abstract

The paper gives an analysis of the notion of "good governance” in documents of various international organisations. Special attention has been paid to elaboration of the notion "good governance” in the European Union instruments.The White Paper on Good Governance has been analysed, activities aiming at implementation of the doctrine of "good governance” have been stated and factors influencing "good governance” establishment have been listed. In conclusion, importance of the doctrine of "public administration” in institutions of the Union has been analysed.
