Abstract

In this work, three types of optical proximity measurement principles are considered, including their pros and cons. An electronic circuit with simple optically diffused principle is implemented, wherein optical transmitter uses infrared photodiode, and receiver a phototransistor. Analysis of such optical transducer results with functional dependency of output voltage and proximity to a detectable object.
