Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide some tools and guidance to managers, investors, and all the individuals and groups that want to do business on an international level or be part of international business, especially in the Middle East. Countries covered in this paper are Croatia and Qatar. For these countries there is a way of business, culture, application and perceptionf of business ethics and conduct, which should be adopted by anyone who wants to operate successfully. The theme of this paper is also the responsibility of each country, where each plays a role in international business. The perception by the public and personal experience of the writer is also included in the paper. How those two countries struggle with ethical issues, how they face them and how they care for their interest participants and stakeholders is also the topic of this paper and the examples of different cultures and countries shown above are very useful for everyone interested in this matter. The research paper is based on scientific methods where the author conducted quantitative and qualitative research in Croatia and Qatar. The population and a sample of the population of this research was selected amongst different economic sectors such as; hotel industry, tourism, construction, finance, insurance, banking, gas and oil industry, trade and services.
