A New Method of Manufacturing Small-Diameter Bars and Tubes from Hardly Deformable Steels in Skew Rolling

Abstract
The paper discusses the process of hot rolling on skew rolling mills and compares it with other methods of
manufacturing rods (shape milling) and tubes (pilger rolling). The method and results of calculation of the optimal price of a three-roll skew rolling mill taking into account the benefits for the purchaser and the manufacturer are given.
