The taxonomic analysis of wild plant species recorded in Čakovec showed predominance of the families Asteraceae, Fabaceae and Lamiaceae. Duration of life cycle analysis showed predominance of perennial herbaceous plants and hemicryptophytes dominated in the life form spectrum. Most species were of the Eurasian origin and also widespread cosmopolitan.
