Abstract

The aim of this article is to show how to realize a successful European project financed by the Agency of Mobility and EU programmes, in order to enrich the schools' daily routine. Within ten step it is shown in detail how such a project can be realized – from the Call of Proposals,through searching for and finding partners, filling in the application form, the best way to choose a suitable project and its partners, signing of the contract, project realization, and finally, the final progress report crucial for the project's success. All of the steps are described theoretically and are practically illustrated with examples from the Comenius project Bread: A Loaf of Europe, conducted by the elementary school Hugo Badalićin Slavonski Brod, Croatia. It may be used as a good practice example and illustration for motivating teachers and headmasters at different levels for getting involved into enriching extracurricular activities.
