Abstract
The research has been carried out into feeding improvement impact on the Alpine and Sannen goat breed in the last 40 days of pregnancy. The control group portion was not changed during the trial, and its total feeding value was 7.1 MJ net energy and 127 g dp. The trial group was given richer rations in two periods, every 20 days. The trial results justified the richer ration applied since the total milk quantity produced in the course of further lactation increased. The total quantity of the fat produced increased too. The goat mortality decreased but the delivery weight and the daily growth increased. Statistically justified differences of the determined parameters of the Sannen goat breed show that they reacted better to the ration improvement that the Alpina breed.
