Abstract

Researches of the growth capacity and the carcass quality have been done on two chicken genotypes, Avian 24 K and Avian s4 K at the age of 42days. Growth rate (sP)and relative growth (Rp) have been examined on thetotal numberof 100 chickens. Estimation of teh particular phases of growth was done by the asimmetryc S-function. The established points of inflection, T for Avian 24 K (4,49; 1 480) and for Avian 34 K (4.74;1480) show specific reaction of chicken genotype in the same conditions of feeding and accommodation. lt has been established that the genetic base affects the fenotypic characteristics: live weight and weight of slaughtered chicken in fattening up to 42 days, are statisticaly significant (P< 0.05). Better convenience for meat production has been confirmed by the comparative review of carcass quality, because the differences between yields of the most valuable parts of the carcass and the meat tissue among examined genotypes of chickens were statistically significant (P<0.05).
