Abstract

During his service as the apostolic administrator in Bosnia, Augustin Miletić
maintained a continuous communication with those abroad, trying to improve
not only the position of his congregation, but also that of the ecclesiastical
institutions in Bosnia at the time: the apostolic vicariate itself and the Franciscan
Province of Bosna Srebrena. In this capacity he sent several letters to the
bishops of Zagreb. The paper describes the context they were written in, and
then presents the complete transcript.
