Abstract

After a period of contacts between Hungarian and Croatian cultures diminished, they intensified at the end of the 18th century, largely due to the activities of Bosnian Franciscans. The article discusses Jerolim Lipovčić (Hieronymus Lipovchich) and his work 'Dušu čuvajuće porođenje', the translation of 'Lelket őriző látogatás' of Martin Biró de Padányi (Padányi Biro Márton).
