Abstract

In this article the fundamental principle of the applied atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) for the determination of bioelements (metals) in vegetation and soil is treated. Advantages and imperfections in „AAS“ compared to other analytical methods for the determination of metal traces are given. Graphs and tables with the results of soil analysis as well as of the corn leaf analysis, the corn being raised on the soil where various plants were raised before, are presented. The results given in tables 4 and 5 refer to macroelement Ca and Mg and to microelements Mn, Cu, Fe and. Zn.
