Abstract
In the course of l966 and 1967 years the authors have examined the behaviour of some corn hybrids against Helmintosporium turcicum Pass, Puccinia maydis Ber., Fusarium sp. and Ostrinia nubilalis. The results of the examinations bave shown that no considerable difference exists in the behavior of hybrids against the nominated parasites and Ostrinia nubilalis. Most of hybrids can be put into the group of medium and high sensitive hybrids. Less sensitive to H. turcicum was the hvbrid NS-SC-70. To Fusariurn less sensitive hibrids can be considered: ZP-SC-3, NS-SC-60, OS-SC-2l5, OPH-77 and OS-SC-281. In 1967 y. the less sensitive hybrids to P. maydis were: K-l899, ZP-809, NS-718A, NS-SC-70, ZP-SC-3, Segedin 650 ans ZP-SC-48. A weak attack of Ostrinia nubilalis in 1967 was noticed on the following hybrids. BC-590, OS-SC-307, ZP-SC-46 and ZP-SC-7b. With the small exeption relatively more resistant hybrids against these natural enemies have not shown a permanency of this resistance character in all areas. This is especially evident in the exarnined hybrids and their bahavior against Ostrinia nubilalis HBN.
