Abstract

Rescue research at Zvonimirovo-Veliko polje site in 2015 was undertaken at the central part of an elevation where six cremation graves were found belonging to La Tène culture (LT 108 – LT 113). What particularly stands out are deep, larger pits for female graves LT 109 and LT 110 (fig. 1). Also, along the south edge of the LT 110 grave, a bowl was placed on the bottom of the pit, with the burnt remains of the deceased put on top of it with a few offerings – remains of a bronze fibula and probably a burnt bracelet (fig. 3). Next to the grave LT 112 with weapons and toiletries (fig. 5-6), graves were found which, based on the clothing and jewellery features (fig. 2), belonged to female burials. Grave goods consists of pottery – pots and bowls. The graves explored date back to LT C2, that is, Mokronog IIb phase.
