Abstract
In the intensive grape cultivation, it is necessary to use modern machinery in order to provide timely and quality operations. Considering that 40-60% of the investments in grape production is related to machinery and equipment, it is very important to achieve optimal operating parameters. The aim of this paper was to determine certan operating parameters of grape harvest machines (dragged „Alma Selecta XL“ and self-propelled „Gregoire G90“). The working capacity of machines was be compared to manual harvest as well as cost-effectiveness of both types of harvest. The results showed that the track harvester „Alma Selecta XL“ consumed more fuel, 12.62 l ha-1, compared to the harvester „Gregoire G90“, which consumes 7.71 l ha-1. Energy consumption per hectare by harvesters „Gregoire G90“ and „Alma Selecta XL“ was 270.4 MJ ha-1 and 442.6 MJ ha-1 respectively. Cost-effectiveness of „Alma Selecta XL“ harvester was 12.9, and of „Gregoire G90“ harvester 9.0. Both harvesters achieved higher production and cost-effectiveness compared to manual harvest.
