Abstract

Peacock olive leaf spot is the most frequent olive disease in Croatia. With intensive olive-growing it is becoming an increasing problem. The symptoms are described as well as the damages, overwintering manner and ecological conditions for the development of the disease. A method for early detection of latent infection and monitoring is presented. Orientational time-limits for carrying out protection and recommended agents registered in Croatia are given.
