Abstract

The author attempts to show the importance of confession as part of the educational process of man-believer existential analysis of texts in the Exhortation, John Paul II, Tertio Millennio Adveniente and in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Emphasis is placed on the positive aspect of the sacrament of confession. The confession that is experienced not only in relation to the past as a liberation from sin (negative aspect) but which is geared towards the future (positive aspect) that is a good choice, can become interesting and useful to contemporary man-believer, a very important factor in the education and everyday life, with respect for people and the whole nature.
