Abstract

This paper lists the new habitats sites of the following endemic plants in Istria: Achillea virescens (Fenzl) Heimerl, Anthyllis vulneraria L. subsp. rubiflora (DC.) Arcang., Erysimum carniolicum Dolliner, Helleborus multifidus Vis. subsp. istriacus (Schiffn.) Merxm. et Podl., Knautia illyrica Beck, Leucanthemum atratum (Jacq.) DC. subsp. platylepis (Borbás) Heywood and Melampyrum fimbriatum Vandas.
The listed endemic plants were found while doing research on autochtnonous vascular plants conducted in 2003 and 2004 on the grasslands (both pastures and mowed meadows) of family farms that breed sheep, from the M. Britvec i sur.: Endemičke biljke na travnjacima obiteljskih gospodarstava u Istri north to the south of the Istrian peninsula, Croatia. The new habitats sites are Slum, Gregurinčići, Boljunski Katun, Trošti, St. Grgur, Krnica and Jadreški.
