Since the second half of the seventies of the last century, the methods of multi-criteria analysis have often been used in various scientific researches. Among others, they are also applied in the field of agricultural management. This paper presents the reasons and scopes of application of multi-criteria decision-making method in agricultural production, as well as characteristics of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) in the selection of eggs production system. Defined model consisted of a quantitative criterion of economic indicators, and the other two referred to qualitative criteria, market indicators and technical-technological factors. Based on individual assessments of the examinees, overall cumulative evaluation was obtained for the table egg production systems.
