A method f or the cannulization of the rat's v. jugularis and its use in experimental toxicology

Abstract

A method is developed for the cannulization of the jugular vein of the rat, in order to make repeated withdrawal of blood samples possible. A wide application of the method in those investigations which would otherwise require large (and expensive) experimental animals is pointed out.
