Abstract

This paper is the result of a number of language investigations carried out by the author in order to find out the extent to which operators in the field of tourism and the hospitality industry value the importance of foreign languages in their everyday work as well as the factors that motivate hospitality management language students in learning foreign languages.
The aim of the article is to summarize the findings of our research so as to give a possible answer about the way of improving quality in the hospitality industry through improving competence in foreign languages.
