Abstract

The tourism development impacts on the environment. In the development planning process it’s necessary to take into consideration the concept of sustainable tourism development.
To implement the concept of sustainable tourism development in practice, the adequate methods have to be used. The characteristical aspects of carrying capacity o f tourist area and limits of acceptable change are analysed in this paper.
