Abstract

This paper presents a short historical overview of artefacts made
of hair, the techniques of working with an organic material
(hair) and the chemical analysis of the adhesive. The artefact is
then described, as is its condition as found, and the procedures
of the conservation and restoration interventions of cleaning,
integration, rebuilding missing sections, consolidation and
retouching.
