NOTES ON THE MEĐIMUREAN MIDDLE AGES

Abstract

The paper gives a followup on the scanty traces of Međimurean Middle Ages history from the middle of the 7th century to the first half of the 14th century. Names of the towns Štrigova and Čakovec are analyzed, and the equating of Štrigova with Stridon, the birthplace of Saint Jerome.
