Abstract

Test anxiety is manifested in the situation of testing knowledge, skills and abilities and it is very frequent phenomen in pupils
in the school period. Researches from many countries showed that test anxiety is especially present in pupils with learning
disabilities. In this paper the emphasis was put on the effects of test anxiety on school succes and generaly on psychological
develpment. Furthemore, researches about factors that influence test anxiety were given, with emphasis on the family factors.
There are many ways of decreasing test anxiety and researches about efficacy of that methods were presented. In conclusion
was given the need of investigation of test anxiety in pupils with learning disability in Croatia because this field has not been
investigated yet.
