Abstract

The paper presents the concept of the intelligent system design tools that processing of available databases with the results of tests carried out at the airport offers optimal technical solutions created as a knowledge base. Example checking state apron lighting with intelligent system, offered the reconstruction project to set parameters and constraints. From a database of regular maintenance checks, measurements and inspections showed the actual state of all vital components of the apron lighting systems. The decision on the design, supervision and further maintenance is entrusted to an intelligent system. Generated solutions derived from an intelligent system indicated the need for a new approach to design with improved maintenance with include testing or measuring illumination, the airport apron as part of the airports lighting system. The conclusion is that it is necessary to entrust the job to specialists because the necessary comprehensiveness of testing, data collection, processing and interpretation of relevant data.
