Application of teleradiology in ct diagnostic in the Koprivnica general hospital

Abstract
We would like to present our one-year experience with the Schimadzu CT scanner in Koprivnica General Hospital connected by teleradiological system with the Department of Neurosurgery of the University Clinical Center, Zagreb. Interactive teleradiological consultation was needed in 50 out o f 1500 CT examinations in emergency and non-eme gency cases. During interactive communication responses were obtained immediately or within 24 hours, depending on the patient's condition. We conclude that inte ractive teleradiological consultation is effective and costsaving.
