Abstract

The paper is a sketch for the synthesis of an interesting literary opus. The author tries to connect various genres and typological aspects of writer Goran Tribuson. The author presents all the essential features of Tribuson’s narrative opus. He further compares Tribuson’s crime novels with novels of several Scandinavian writers, claiming that Tribuson had achieved great success even earlier than they did. The author pays respect to Tribuson’s undoubtedly skilled story-telling method linked with detailed observing of social and psychological features of the characters.
