PSYCHOSOClAL ADJUSTMENT OF ADOLESCENTS ON DISPLACEMENT

Abstract

The aim of this work was to explore sources of stress and specific stress reactions of displaced adolescents. Each adolescent has experienced 4,2 stressful events (out ofl). Those adolescents who were changing accommodation place more often during displacement period and those who are still separated from their families have been exposed to the higher number of stressful events. Exposure to the higher amount of stressful events is significantly related to increased depression in adolescents.
