Abstract
Traditional models of enterprise management, in which an enterprise is viewed as an independent competitive system, are unable to fulfil the demands of modern business. In an increasingly global, dynamic business environment, changing paradigms in managing a modern enterprise have emerged as critical preconditions for the survival of a business. Instead of outcome-based deterministic optimization methods that are supported by results of the activities undertaken, modern business requires a project approach and resultant simulation activity modelling based on given contextual information on what end consumers need. Modern business requires contextualization of
entrepreneurship where an enterprise tends to function as subsystem in a supply chain, across the entire value chain, from raw material to end consumer, building cooperative competitiveness at various phases of supply chain management to add value for end-user and dynamically optimizing business by concentrating on logistics flows.
