PROCEDURE OF REGISTERING AND MONITORING OF THE PART OF THE BUSINESS PROCESS OF MAINTENANCE OF THE RAIL TRACK

Abstract
HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. has invested large funds into raising of the safety level of the railway transport as a whole. The Maintenance sector gathers the data on the slow runs, track closures, ruptures of rails, welds and ties, track deformations and regularity of the material of the track grid. The gathered data are processed and analysed and if necessary action plans are designed as preventive and corrective actions are prepared. Timely maintenance of track sections results in the reduction of the number of the ruptures of rails, welds and ties, track deformations, slow runs, restricted speeds and track closures and increase of the railway line flow capacity and safety level of railway transport.
