Abstract

In this paper the author deals with some important events from the early Christian history on the South Adriatic coast and its hinterland. She covered the period from the 3rd to 7th century and spoke about conditions and ways of spreading the Christianity, main centers as sources of Christianizing rural areas in the inland, prosecution of Christians with the emphasis on martyrs of Salona, legalization of Christianity and theological disputes.
