Abstract

Over the last few decades, in the world and in our country, there has been an obvious development
of sisterhood. The work flow, and the provision of health care services by nurses are all the more complicated.
For this reason, an important role in educating students in educational work has practical work. During practical
work at the General Hospital of Pula, students of the Medical School acquire the appropriate competence and
safety in the work.
The employees of the Pula General Hospital have an important place in educating students, transferring
knowledge and guiding students through the practical part of the necessary medical-technical interventions
that need to be mastered for future work. The hospital and the school participate in the further development and
design of personality and creativity that are very important for future occupation.
Through the work, the students get a more realistic picture of the complex role and work of the nurse in all
tasks involving the nursing profession. In this context, the Pula General Hospital and the Pula Medical School
promote the overall development of students with an emphasis on intellectual, professional, emotional and
cognitive development. And all in order to be in the future, nurses adhere to professional ethics to be able to
provide adequate healthcare and to further professionalize them.
The aim of this paper is to show the impact of hospitals in collaboration with schools in acquiring the necessary
professional competences, the development of personal and professional communication, and adaptation
to new knowledge. Equally, in implementing new experiences and knowledge in the field of health care, and
