Repair of ship - compensation for damage : [case review and a note]

Abstract
The provisions of the [Croatian] Law on Obligations apply to the damage caused by a crew member acting within the scope of his employment. According to this Law the ship operator shall be liable as employer of the crew member if he does not prove that the crew member has not acted as he should have done.
